Hi everyone!
I’m Benji and I’m currently doing an internship and volunteering mission at PDS Zanzibar.
After seeing positive comments about the organization on a forum, I went to the organization’s social networks and I fell in love with their social actions.
I directly contacted Aude (coordinator at PDS) who kindly advised me and 2 weeks later I was on the plane to Tanzania !
At PDS, I manage the social networks (Instagram, Facebook…). I regularly post about life at PDS and send emails. I also created a fundraising to continue the construction of PDS School. So, I have to communicate regularly about the fundraising campaign and look for partners.
Every morning I teach French, digital marketing and IT to girls. They learn very quickly, they are very motivated and help each other a lot!
I am living a very enriching experience. No day is the same and I like that! The PDS members are very present for us. They come with us to Stone Town, a nice town not far from PDS, during our free time. (The sunset is incredible).
I still have a month to spend here and many beautiful moments to live!
