Small Scale Industries

Since 2018, PDS manages different Small Scale Industries (SSI) programs. As PDS’ motto is “Jobs creation is our priority”, these programs aim at creating new jobs. Instead of just waiting for an employer to get a job, the idea is to create your own job by launching your own small business.

We provide practical skills according to the needs of the community in order to launch new small scale industries. Our long-term vision is to complete these programs with Microfinance knowledge (lending
money to the small businessess owners) in order to make all the new small businesses sustainable.

The Small Scale Industries (SSI) project is mainly focus on women and youth as they are the most impacted by unemployement issus. PDS teaches the practical skills through 3-months or 1-month
programs, with classes 4 times per week. The students are graduated at the end of each program. Our wish is to implement Microfinance so that we can give a microcredit to the most motivated students with the best business ideas.
